Benjamin Field is an internationally sought after Producer/Director currently working with The Format Factory.

During his time there Benjamin has become a Broadcast Award winner and has been instrumental in securing the company's position as a creative tour-de-force having been nominated as 'Best Emerging Indie' just 18 months after company's first full commission.

As an inclusive leader Benjamin was recognised at the Makers and Shakers Awards held at BAFTA for being a leading light in the creative industry when he was nominated for 'Maker of The Year'. This prestigious event celebrated inclusivity and diversity within the media industry, an area which Benjamin feels passionate about frequently championing diversity both off screen and on.

Described as a technical pioneer for his inventive use of Deep Fake to re-purpose audio archive for his award winning feature documentary, Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted, Benjamin has gone on to further perfect the process and is now heavily involved in developing an ethical approach to synthetic visual media using artificial intelligence.

Benjamin is now a regular expert guest for discussions about Artificial Intelligence and deep fakes, having appeared on, among others, BBC Radio 4,  BBC Scotland, BBC Arabic and as a guest speaker for the University of Reading, backed by the Alan Turing Institute.
